The 620-acre Circle J-Norris Ranch is seven miles north of Springville, CA on the scenic Yokohl Valley Road in
the foothills of the southern Sierra Nevada. Circle J-Norris Ranch preserves blue oak woodlands and a
riparian zone that provide crucial habitat for mountain lion, bobcat, and historically, the California Condor. A
creek on the north end of the ranch provides seasonal water to the North Fork Tule River. Circle J-Norris
Ranch is a part of a patchwork of conserved lands in the North Fork Tule River Basin and surrounding
foothills, including the Clemmie Gill School of Science and Conservation (SCICON) to the southeast, the Giant
Sequoia National Monument to the southeast, Mountain Home State Forest to the east, the Blue Ridge
National Wildlife Refuge to the north, and Sequoia Riverlands Trust Blue Oak Ranch Preserve to the east.
