Drive time from Porterville, 25 minutes. Last food and gas in Springville.

From Porterville, take Highway 190 East to Springville (approx. 11.4 miles)

Turn left on Balch Park Road at the Big White Barn and drive 5.5 miles (note: road is labeled "Wagner Dr." on Google Maps)

Turn left at 40802 and proceed approximately 200 feet to asphalt circle, where signage directs you to bear slightly right to the UC Merced SCICON Field Station, 40802 Balch Park Road, Springville, CA 93265
(Important Note: this is not the field station, but where you can find the office of the SCICON Administrator and Maintenance Steward).
